There is a New Delicious & Healthy Food Option in The Castro and its Beautifull!
San Francisco, Ca 5/26/2011 –-Beautifull Inc, founded by serial entrepreneur Eric Greenberg, has opened its third fresh food store location in San Francisco’s Eureka Valley Castro district. The store located at 2301 Market St at Noe shares next door space with the ever so popular Gold’s Gym, combining the possibility to get a great workout and a great meal all in one locale.
Beautifull, which opened its first location in SF’s Laurel Village on California Street in April of 2009, provides a convenient way to get fresh, natural and whole food that also tastes great. Their food is prepared with locally sourced & sustainable ingredients, organic wherever possible, and are free of hormones, antibiotics, steroids, chemicals, refined white flours and other “junk”. All of the dishes use humanely raised meats, sustainable fish and a wide variety of super foods such as kale, quinoa (golden, red and black), farro, as well as perfectly engineered blends of herbs & spices.
For ordering options, Beautifull provides no lack of choices. They boast a menu including comfort foods such as all natural Diestel Turkey Meatballs, roasted garlic mashed potatoes & farro risotto with seasonal vegetables, their all natural Green Thai chicken curry or Indian vegetable curry over brown rice or quinoa. Made to order sandwiches, fresh salad bowls and soups are another favorite.
For those in a rush or needing an easy take home option, there is a wide selection of ready prepared meals as well as several salads, sandwiches and sides. They also boast an array of made to order high protein dishes, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, perfect for those with dietary restrictions looking for a quick meal.

BEAUTIFULL ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF ITS SECOND FRESH FOODSPACE IN SAN FRANCISCO’S INNER SUNSET NEIGHBORHOOD
(San Francisco, CA) – January 4, 2009 –Beautifull is opening its second fresh foodspace in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood on January 9, 2010. Joining its first location in Laurel Heights, the new Beautifull includes both indoor and outdoor seating and an open kitchen to showcase incredible tasting, healthy fresh food created by Chefs Donna Insalaco and Ron Boyd.
Beautifull offers a fresh menu made from natural ingredients free of hormones, steroids, additives and preservatives and made without refined sugars, refined oils, refined grains, butter or cream.
The inspiration for the company came from Founder Eric Greenberg. He wanted to change the way he was living, and chose a lifestyle based on healthy real whole foods. He quickly lost seventy pounds, felt more energetic and became passionate about helping others do the same. He opened Beautifull, where his favorite foods are available for guests to dine-in, take-out, stock up or have them catered.
The Sunset foodspace is the second location of Beautifull, with the company’s plan to expand in the Bay Area in 2010. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to expand our locations,” says Greenberg. “With the success of our Laurel Heights location, our team of culinary professionals are excited to make our food available broadly to more people.”
In addition to signature dishes including Turkey Meatballs, Tea Smoked Salmon, Green Thai Chicken Curry and the Chinese Chicken Salad, the new foodspace will feature new menu items such as Baked Polenta Fries. To end on a sweet note, Beautifull offers three types of Freshly Baked Organic Whole Grain Cookies sweetened with agave.
The Sunset location is designed in earthy, warm tones to complement the fresh, natural and whole food of Beautifull. Simplistic and inviting, the new location features an open kitchen and spacious dining area, with approximately 24 seats inside and 12 seats in the heated outdoor patio. Floor to ceiling windows at the front allow natural light to pervade the space. As you enter, to the left are the grab-and-go pre-packaged items – easily accessible, and to the right, is the custom display case full of freshly prepared whole grain salads, vegetables, curries, roasted and grilled meats and soups. Additionally, there is a woodstone pizza oven and a great sandwich menu.
Sustainability is a theme reflected in the cuisine and the packaging, and also in the design. The store incorporates natural wood, granite and quarry tile flooring and countertops. To celebrate local artists, Beautifull is working with Susan Cervantes, Founder of Precita Eyes Muralists Association, to produce a large abstract mural in the patio representing happiness, contentment and love.

Created by Chef Rob Boyd, Director of Research & Development for the culinary team, the new editions are inspired by Boyd’s passion for ethnic ingredients and follow Beautifull’s philosophy of offering whole, natural food that is both tasty and healthy.
The new Asian-inspired Beautifull Bowls range in price from $8.99 - $12.99 and are served with fresh greens, tat soi, cucumbers, pickled vegetables, cilantro, basil, mint, peanuts, a sweet hot ginger vinaigrette, a choice of whole grain brown rice or quinoa, and one of the following: Grilled Salmon; Burmese Curry Shrimp; Grilled Chicken; and Green Vegetable. Beautifull will continue to offer the signature Beautifull Curry Bowls which include Green Thai Chicken Curry, Red Thai Beef Curry and Indian Vegetable Curry.
