Eric Greenberg
Founder, Chairman and CEOEric Greenberg is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Beautifull, Inc., a revolutionary new food company providing tasty, healthy and convenient prepared food that is fresh, natural and whole. The Company currently sells its prepared fresh food in a “fresh foodspace” concept that enables customers to eat in, take out, stock up or have meals delivered to the home or office. Beautifull has headquarters in South San Francisco and two fresh foodspace locations in San Francisco.
Eric is also an active philanthropist. He is a trustee of the Shoah Foundation and received the organization’s 2001 Ambassador to Humanity Award. He endowed the Human Genetics Laboratory at the Mission Bay Campus of the University of California at San Francisco, where the lab was named in his honor. In addition, he endowed genetic research treatments at Columbia/Cornell Medical School for breast cancer and pediatric cardiology. He was named by Worth Magazine as one of the Ten Most Generous Americans Under 45.
A serial entrepreneur, Eric has founded and established several businesses throughout his career including Acumen Sciences, a life sciences company that produced the Acumen Journal of Life Sciences; Scient, a consulting firm focused on e-business; and Viant, an Internet systems integrator. He is also the recipient of the Einstein Technology Innovation Award from the Jerusalem Fund. In addition, he established wind farms in partnership with Native American Tribes in the Great Plains to generate green economy income for those in need and provide renewable energy to the surrounding area.
Eric is also the author of Generation We: How Millennial Youth Are Taking Over America and Changing Our World Forever (www.gen-we.com), a critically acclaimed and award-winning book (recipient of the 2009 Montaigne Medal—www.HofferAward.com) describing the political and social shift that is being driven by 95 million young people now coming of age. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Kristina Dermody
Senior Vice President, OperationsA 15 year veteran of the food and beverage industry, Kristina Dermody joined Beautifull in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Field Operations. Previously, Kristina worked for several years for Starbucks Coffee Company, both for North America and later in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Region as Director of Food & Beverage. Kristina was responsible for opening new markets and bringing the Starbucks Experience to those countries. Kristina has also lived in Belgium, UK, Spain and The Netherlands working as a consultant to several companies based throughout Europe. In addition, she had the opportunity to work closely with Michelin star chefs during her time abroad, including Juan Marie Arzak of Arzak Restaurant and Andoni Luis Aduriz of Mugaritz in San Sebastián, Spain and Alfred Prasad of Tamarind in London. A graduate of University of Colorado at Boulder, Kristina loves the outdoors and is a supporter of the slow food movement.

Donna Insalaco
Senior Vice President, Culinary R&D & Executive ChefInspired by a deep passion for the culinary arts and nutrition, Donna Insalaco is responsible for the Culinary Innovation for our new food experience. Donna is an industry-leading chef who has over 20 years of experience that include stints at fine dining restaurants, high volume catering, commercial organic baking and boutique restaurant concepts. Donna recently held the position of Vice President of Operations for Fullbloom Baking Company, where she led the company’s expansion of operations and pioneered the bakery’s new facility organic certification. Donna’s inspiration for combining unique flavors with foods healing properties has helped guide her to the success she has today. Donna received her culinary and hospitality training from The New York Technical College and has honed her skills at many industry culinary events, including Dom Perignon’s Seminar Gastronomique and Food and Wine Pairing.

Ron Boyd
Vice President, CulinaryThe 2005 San Francisco Chronicle “Rising Star Chef,” brings more than 25 years of culinary experience in the Bay Area to his role at Beautifull. Positions at high profile restaurants such as the Grand Café, Domaine Chandon and most recently Aqua, give Boyd a deep respect for culinary technique and a philosophy of cooking that relies on the balance of flavors.

Mark Sarvary
Mark Sarvary has been CEO or President of large consumer product businesses for more than a decade. Most recently, he was president of Campbell’s $6B North America Division. Previously, he was CEO of J. Crew, and prior to that, President of Stouffer’s, the frozen food business owned by Nestlé. Prior to moving into consumer businesses, he spent 5 years at Bain, and 5 years at IBM in the UK. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc. in Physics from the University of Kent at Canterbury.

John Yamin
CEO, La Brea BakeryA 25-year veteran of the food and beverage industry, John Yamin joined La Brea Bakery in 2002 as senior vice president of brand development and was named CEO in 2003. Previously, John was Vice President of Food for Starbucks Coffee Company, where he was responsible for all food and food-related products for domestic locations. A native to upstate New York, John is an alumnus of Skidmore College. He is actively involved with Wildlife Preservation, The Humane Society, and Girls, Inc. a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young girls to be strong, smart and bold. John resides in the Los Angeles area and enjoys reading and exercising in his free time.

Paula LeDuc
Culinary PartnerWhen Paula LeDuc tells the story of her catering business, it usually begins like this, "Well, I’m full-blooded Italian." And right away, we understand what she means: A perfect dish of pasta. A rich, full bodied Chianti. A glittering Armani gown. Puccini’s heartbreaking Madame Butterfly. And of course any film by Fellini, but especially La Dolce Vita. From these roots of imagination, creativity, and beauty, she created Paula LeDuc Fine Catering, which has gone on to build a reputation as the premier catering company in San Francisco. In her advisory role at Beautifull, she offers a unique creative perspective informed by her many years in the culinary arts.

Dr. Christopher Gardner
Christopher D. Gardner, PhD, is Director of Nutrition Studies at the Stanford Prevention Research Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University. He received his PhD in Nutritional Sciences in 1993 from the University of California, Berkeley. His postgraduate training included a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular disease epidemiology at Stanford. Dr. Gardner is actively involved in research and teaching. His research focus is on dietary intervention trials designed to test the effects of food components or food patterns on chronic disease risk factors, including body weight, blood lipids, and inflammatory markers. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including a recent publication in JAMA of a study contrasting the weight loss effects of four diets ranging from very low to very high carbohydrate among more than 300 women who were assigned to the diets for one year.

Dean Ornish, MD
Founder and President, Preventative Medicine Research InstituteDean Ornish, M.D., is the founder and president of the non-profit Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, California and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Ornish received his medical training in internal medicine from the Baylor College of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts General Hospital. For the past 30 years, Dr. Ornish has directed groundbreaking clinical research demonstrating that comprehensive lifestyle changes may begin to reverse coronary heart disease without drugs or surgery.
He is the author of six best-selling books, including Dr. Dean Ornish’s Program for Reversing Heart Disease, Eat More, Weigh Less, and The Spectrum. His pionerring research been published in many places, including the Journal of the American Medical Association, The Lancet, Circulation, The New England Journal of Medicine, and the American Journal of Cardiology.
Dr. Ornish is a member of many prestigious boards and associations around the country, including the U.S. United Nations High Commission on Refugees, the San Francisco Food Bank and "Project Q" at the Harvard School of Public Health. He was appointed to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy and elected to the California Academy of Medicine. He is Chair of the Google Health Advisory Council, the PepsiCo Blue Ribbon Advisory Board, and the Safeway Advisory Council on Health and Nutrition and consults with McDonald’s to make more healthful foods. Dr. Ornish was recognized by LIFE magazine as "one of the fifty most influential members of his generation."

Mohr Davidow VenturesBill Davidow has been a high-technology industry executive and a venture investor for more than 30 years, and is an active advisor to Mohr Davidow Ventures. He is the author of Marketing High Technology and co-author of Total Customer Service and The Virtual Corporation. Bill's community involvement extends to serving on the boards of California Institute of Technology, Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. He also sits on the Foundation Board of UCSF Medical Center. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from both Dartmouth College and the California Institute of Technology, and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
